THE KIDS KICKBOXING PROGRAM BUILDS PHYSICAL AGILITY, CONTROL, AND RESILIENCE TO HELP KIDS EXCEL

Muay Thai is not just self-defense. It’s a tool we use to help kids become leaders.

Imagine your seven to nine-year-old kids as budding scholars of life, brimming with intellectual curiosity, and embarking on an emotional journey. But hey, let's face it, they might occasionally grapple with those tricky concepts of appropriate behavior and physical self-control. That's where our Kidz Kickboxing program steps in, specially crafted to harmonize martial arts with their holistic growth. We're not just teaching kicks and punches; we're nurturing their minds and bodies in sync with their unique development

DOES YOUR CHILD HAVE

ANY OF THESE CHALLENGES?

They struggle to maintain control of their movements and may inadvertently cause harm.

They don’t remember what you or their teachers tell them and struggle with paying attention.

They are great kids but they just don’t listen, You have to tell them to do something 100 times before they do it!

A FEW WORDS FROM

Dave Dow

I’m Dave Dow, the Owner here at NAK Martial Arts.

I founded NAK Martial Arts with a passion for teaching kids martial arts in a safe environment, and to empower them to learn life-skills that will carry them well into adulthood.

Now, NAK Martial Arts is proud to be one of the FEW schools in Tennessee that requires their instructors to complete a full certification course, prior to being allowed to lead a class.

In fact, that’s why NAK Martial Arts trains some of the highest-class martial arts students in the state (and we’re pretty proud of that fact!)…

That said, it isn’t all about the punching and kicking! Our NAK Martial Arts unique Powerful Character Development program has been proven to help kids learn valuable life skills that can be applied in every aspect of their life to help them achieve success.

While many martial art schools talk about confidence and leadership…our students ACTIVELY complete real life skill activities and drills to prepare them to land the best opportunities available!

PARENTING A CHILD DOESN'T GET EASIER

Kids between the ages of seven and nine have grown up quite a bit, but that doesn’t make your job as a parent is any easier than before... it might be more difficult. Your child might have gained some emotional control but still is challenged to react appropriately when disappointed or upset. In addition, they have difficulty in accepting responsibility for their actions but very quick to blame others and tattle.

You must feed their intellectual curiosity with continual challenges to keep them interested in the task at hand.
Martial arts instruction is ideal for this because of its structure, progressive skill learning, and periodic measurable achievements.

Mentoring kids in Murfreesboro Tennessee

CONSTANT AND NEVERENDING IMPROVEMENT!

Our Kids Kickboxing program works with kids to teach them how to accept accountability, control their emotions, and pay attention to teachers, coaches, and parents. Our martial arts program provides them with an outlet for their energy while teaching them about respect, discipline, and other core values. That will help them to be successful in school and in life

TRAINING IN MARTIAL ARTS DEVELOPS COORDINATION AND FINE MOTOR SKILLS

Young children who train in martial arts learn to make their movements precise and intentional. They build fine motor control and improve their balance.
They also develop hand-eye coordination work on their precision and accuracy. This means they will be less likely to inadvertently cause harm.

DEVELOP LASER-BEAM FOCUS

Did you know that children this age have a 7- 10-minute attention span?! Our kids kickboxing program can vastly help improve this. The repetitive movements and drills in martial arts training require concentration and mental discipline, which can improve overall focus and cognitive ability. Also as students are required to pay attention to finer details as they advance in skill this in turn improves their focus. When a child starts sparring this will help develop single-point focus as they need to be in a state of flow and living in the moment during this activity.

KIDS WHO train in MARTIAL ARTS LEARN TEAMWORK

Everyone wants to win. But it is just as important to learn how to lose, an accept a defeat gracefully, and learn from the experience. We teach students how to work with others and that you either win or you LEARN, because if you learn something you never lose.
Even though martial arts, especially kickboxing and Muay Thai is an individual sport, we foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation on and off the mat.

LOADS OF FUN !!

We get it, kids are kids, and they deserve some good ol' fun. While we can't vouch for how much fun they're having at school, we absolutely GUARANTEE that your child will have a blast in our martial arts classes.

We've cracked the code on creating classes that strike the perfect balance between learning, respect, discipline, and, you guessed it, non-stop FUN. Our classes are like a treasure chest of exciting ideas, activities, and games that keep your kids engaged, energized, and far, far away from boredom.

But that's not all! Our dojo is not just a place for martial arts; it's a fantastic, healthy environment where your little warriors (and you) can forge friendships with like-minded peers. It's a place where laughter, cheers, and happiness fill the air, and yes, they'll work up a good sweat too!
